A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and donors who made this year’s 5K Run/Walk a resounding success! Your support and dedication helped us reach new heights, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
To our volunteers: your hard work and enthusiasm were the heart of the event, ensuring everything went smoothly and everyone had an incredible experience. We appreciate you!
To our sponsors: your generous contributions allowed us to put on such an amazing event and fund our mission. Thank you for being a vital part of our community.
To our donors: your continued support enables us to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. Together, we are creating lasting change.
If you weren’t able to join us this year, don’t worry! You can still make a difference by donating to our Hospitality Meal program year-round. Every gift helps us provide meals to those in need, and you can contribute easily through CanadaHelps.
Stay tuned for next year’s event — we can’t wait to see you there and continue this incredible journey together!

For 28 years, the church of St. John the Evangelist has been welcoming Londoners experiencing hunger to dinner every Saturday night without a break. In 2024, a Tuesday lunch and an outdoor pantry were added to address the ever increasing food security needs in London.
This is the primary, but not the only way that our church community reaches out to those in need. The funds raised from our event will go directly to feeding our guests. With increased cost of food and supplies, the success of this event has never been more critical to the financial security of the Meal Program.
The 5K Run/Walk provides the financial support to ensure these activities continue. The need continues to grow – in 2025 our Saturday Meal has been serving more people than for the same period in 2024 and our Tuesday meal supports an average of 80 people per week! The cost of food and supplies is also increasing. The success of this event has never been more important to the financial security of the Meal Program and to Outreach support.
